Popularity 50+ years ago doesn't translate to DVD sales. Marcus Welby was the number one rated show and bombed on DVD. Ben Casey was a Top 10 show which hasn't even seen one season released. Beverly Hillbillies was in the Top 20 for 8 of its 9 seasons and has stalled out.
Well, the reality is that the sales sucked on what was released and so no one has any interest in putting out the 400+ remaining episodes of a series which didn't even sell well when DVD sales were at their peak. Yet here we are 1000+ posts later rehashing the issue as if anything is going to...
