One of the most wonderful things about movies and tv is the link to others we shared them with.

The movie and book are favs for me. I also like the book monster midway telling about the world of the carney. We live about 20 minutes from Gibsonton Fl which was the winter home of the carnys and still has many living there.

I was lucky to meet both Bob McAllister and Soupy later in life. I also had another tv hero (before the 60's in the Detroit market) Milky the Clown (Clare Cummings) not only did I meet him later in life but we became good friends until his passing .
