I made that statement based on the fact that for a display to be called "HDR Compatible" by CEA, it has to be able to process the HDR10 media profile and that the HDR10 media profile, per Wikipedia, "HDR10 Media Profile uses the Rec. 2020 color space, SMPTE ST 2084, and a bit depth of 10-bits."...
