Amazingly, not-so-amazingly, TMZ is reporting that maybe the Academy wasn't all that truthful when they say they asked Smith to leave.

Let's not make this about each other, fellas. I don't want to see this devolve from something that happened between a couple of jamokes at the Oscars and have it create division between members. We're better than they are.

I'm still watching on Spectrum, Wayne (even after my move north). So I'm at least glad to have confirmation from someone in my area. Thanks! Anyone else? It was a real PITA.

I'd say that depends as to whether one believes that our society is making progress towards leveling the playing field and having the same rules for everybody...or instead believes that it's okay for us to bend over backwards to allow those without the power to "catch up" and have the right to...

Is anyone else having any funky audio problems during this broadcast? My audio has been dropping in & out throughout the whole thing. Not entirely out...but as if its going back-and-forth between 5.1 (and filling my HT) and 1.0 mono (and isolating in my center speaker). Pretty effin'...
