So, tonight I revisited Moonraker, one of the few Moore Bonds I didn't own before, because at the time I thought it was just too stupid.
Well, I was wrong, it's actually pretty good, or good-ish, well shot, good locations, the usual Moore suaveness, some pretty good fight scenes for an old guy...

Spectre, like Skyfall, has great cinematography, opens strong, but ultimately fails to keep the pace and my interest up to the end.
In Skyfall, once they actually get there, it drags and drags, although M's scenes are quite good. The opening and the stuff in Shanghai is beautiful.

So, rewatched The Rock today, which I've always liked as one of the greatest action movies ever, in the light of this Bond connection, and while it is surely nonsense, it makes the movie even better.
So many good lines in it.
Never thought of The Rock like that, but it's an interesting thought. Is it because of Sir Sean, or the story (which has nothing to do with MI6, or even espionage, but US military and British SAS)?
I think I would need to rewatch the earlier Bonds before I make a list, I don't even own them all...
