Thanks Cees. BTW, I love your country. I've been there something like seven or eight times. Just wondering, if the Netherlands was a republic after the Hapsburgs were shown the door and the monarchy was first established by Napoleon, why did it remain one? Why didn't it revert to a republic?

Cees, I'm no expert on Dutch history but isn't the Netherlands currently a monarchy, albiet a constitutional one? Was there a time when it wasn't (I'm thinking when it was part of the Spanish Empire).
