Definitely. That remains my most hated of the SE moments. I've owned the SE LDs for about 2 years now, and while I usually watch them over the OT, I always use the old skip button on the Jedi Rocks sequence.

My LD player is hooked up. I'll check it out later.

$37.79 at Amazon with STL. That beats $36+tax (in Indiana) by some change. And, plus...no Frys here yet.

Me too. I was a freshman in high school when they came out, and I swear I watched the trilogy every weekend for the entire year

That makes sense. It also explains why they would wait to ship mine until much later (because I'm only ~4/5 hours from Lexington).

That's kewl. I always thought the Indy box looked a little cheap. Has anyone's Amazon order shipped yet? Someone's set over at Yakface.com shipped, but I'm not even in the shipping soon phase yet. I should get it on Tuesday, though. New releases at Amazon usually ship from Lexington...

Didn't mean to step on any toes. Either way, I'm not bothered by any of it...I was just pointing out that small change vs. 70-75% seems to produce a bit of a contradiction.

I agree...but doesn't that poke some holes in what Lucas said in the interview a few days ago. I recall him saying something like (paraphrasing) "What came out at the theater was only 25-30 percent of what I wanted." It seems to me that 5 minutes of changes can't make up for the ~75% missing.

They're supposed to be opening a Frys in Fishers, IN...which isn't too far away from me, so I'm pumped. That being said, mine's preordered at Amazon for 37.50, which will work out to be cheaper once tax is added.

Ha. Ha. Ha. Same here, and I bet they would look even better if I invested in an external line doubler.
