I would think DIsney+ would be the perfect place to put up the long version of Bedknobs and Broomsticks to offer folks the choice of the shorter or longer versions. I'm glad I still have my DVD. Is it because it might not be mastered in HD that they didn't offer the longer cut on the service?
Thanks, guys, for the initial reactions and information on what you're seeing. Makes decision making about a subscription much easier.

I understand that completely. I would just want to be sure that the future expansion dips into the past for content instead of just adding new just-in-theater/just-on-cable releases to expand their offerings.

Oh, sure. I fully expect Disney will regularly cycle the classics through the service. They can't have everything available all the time; there would be too much competition for the new things they're producing.
What I want to see is what they will start out offering: how much content will be...
I'm curious to see if they're going to broadcast the original Mickey Mouse Club, the original episodes of Disneyland/Walt Disney Presents, and if they'll feature some of the feature movies in HD from the 1940s and 1950s that haven't made it to Blu-ray yet. That will determine whether I subscribe...
