So I'll be going dark on the internet for 24 hours because our work schedules won't allow for live viewing of the Oscars. I won't be able to watch until tomorrow afternoon.
I got to see 6 of the 9 Best Picture nominees and here is my personal ranking which will probably rankle some of you! :D...
What the hell? This voter thought Darkest Hour was the best film of the year but didn’t vote for it because she didn’t think it could win. No wonder Academy voting is so screwed up.
Oh trust me, I will. And if it wins I’ll buy it on Blu-ray because I’m a BP completist. I remember when No Country for Old Men won I thought, crap now I have to watch that? And then I watched it and thought what a great film it was.
It’s funny, because all this talk about 3 Billboards being the front runner and of the 9 nominees it was the only one that I had zero interest in seeing.
