Actually the DVDs showed way more detail than the original broadcasts. What really stands out is cell dust, fingerprints, smudges and so forth. Hanna-Barbera was on such a limited budget that the cel-work was really sloppy, compared to Disney. I can only imagine how much more the imperfections...
