Is this a relatively new issue for you guys? Maybe it's a bug introduce in a recent iOS release? I haven't experienced it at all on my 13 Pro (although I use auto-brightness and normally have the display fairly low, but rarely, if ever, goes down to zero), but I'm still running v15.4.1 though...

I usually only care when I start coming close enough to the Google Drive cap (for free account) to trigger a Gmail alert/warning. That's at least partly because I do use a fairly substantial portion of the free 15GB for stuff other than email. I suppose I can always just create another Google...
