The vast majority of what they offer on the service wouldn't have 4K/HDR masters anyway (and quite a bit look to actually be in SD), so they probably haven't prioritized offering that -- they were also quite slow to join the parade in releasing 4K discs as we all know... though IMHO most films...

Right, 2.0 stereo only... but not like that many films on there would ever really need more though. I'm also a charter subscriber (so it's $90/year for me). It's probably my most used streaming service, and I'll probably never cancel it... even though I actually don't watch Criterion's own...

Yep, they seem to be offering these roughly 2x per year -- and they have all been non-expiring and stackable (and awesome for their semi-annual, 1/2-off flash sale). It's my 4th one since joining as a charter member w/ their discounted annual subscription... although one may have been exclusive...

Plus they've been giving out $10 coupons (2x so far) to shop at their store. And now that B&N seems to have killed membership discount *and* all coupon uses for their Criterion sales, those Criterion store coupons become that much more useful... _Man_

@Sam Posten, not sure how you're accessing your account, but I do see options to pause or cancel under the Settings --> Purchases tab/subsection on their site (via mobile Safari on my iPhone anyway)... Maybe that tab or options are new to the site? _Man_

I actually ended up doing a 4-film overnight marathon finish seemingly just beating their somewhat sluggish(?) process of expiring each of them until dawn this morning, LOL -- kinda reminds one of how B&N sales end. :P _Man_

I haven't really used my subscription that much either, but will probably keep it at least for another year. The service certainly has enough films of interest that I may only want to watch once (or maybe twice) or at least shouldn't just blind purchase even during the better sales nowadays...

Tried watching Last Hurrah for Chivalry last night. Very disappointing... the video stream kept failing and/or getting stuck many times (and repeatedly drop to extremely low PQ... like it's 200x160p or something)... Tried both MS Edge and Google Chrome -- Edge was worse, but Chrome faired not...

I finally got around to do likewise as well. Noticed they actually have John Woo's Last Hurrah of Chivalry(!) running right now. Really didn't expect that... but it surely makes me happy if the transfer lives upto Criterion rep -- and if this means we might soon get it along w/ others like it...
