FWIW, as I just mentioned in the digital deals thread, I finally decided to just write a review for the AppleTV app (in their App Store) to complain about some key problems w/ it (and briefly comparing it to iTunes app). I suggest others do the same. _Man_

For tvOS 17, they reduced the size of the app icons to yield 1 extra column of them... so naturally, everything also shifted around some because of that -- plus they added a FaceTime app (that's probably on the 1st row by default). _Man_

I haven't been using my ATV4Kv2 to stream music other than a little bit a good while back. Wasn't aware there's any issue of not supporting hi-res lossless. IF it's an issue, I'd think this should be addressed via software update, no? Don't see why there needs to be another hardware update...

What do you mean? Are you talking about the couple-second-or-so blackout between programming (or pauses) that occurs (almost) everytime you stop and (re)start, etc? IF so, that's probably caused by the HDMI resynching that happens whenever there's a format/framerate switch, which can happen...

That is odd... Hmmm... since you mention family sharing, are you somehow maybe logged into a different Apple ID (that's part of your "family sharing" group) than before? Maybe doublecheck your Settings app --> Users and Accounts section and see that everything's in order -- even if you didn't...

Those are your settings? I wonder if that's not part of the problem for the new ATV4K... as I wouldn't think you should want/need it set to SDR... unless there was actually a bug/flaw in the old ATV4K (or old version of tvOS) that made it work better that way... Also, I wouldn't think it makes...
