    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

Fair's got nutin' to do wit it! They have a major uphill battle, so they'll have to do whatever it takes me thinks. They should probably do that at least until they get the ball rolling for Surface RT me thinks. Of course, I'm assuming it doesn't take much for them to provide the RT build...

    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

I guess nobody's giving away free licenses of their apps on Surface RT when you buy them for Win 8 (kinda like UV/digital copies for BD/DVD purchases)? _Man_

    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

I actually have a friend who's been staying away from iOS, Android, et al and bought a Surface RT tablet (w/ the keyboard) back in early November before he even got his electricity back up and running in his NJ home post-Sandy. I wonder how he's liking it now... I suppose one can always just...

    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

The CNet review I saw wasn't too crazy about the larger size. _Man_

    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

Ok, first snafu w/ this mobile site leading to double-post -- and almost triple-post... Love that I no longer need to scroll all the way to top or bottom to get back to subscription feed/page though... _Man_

Thanks, Hanson. Just weird that you can't navigate to it on Amazon's own site (nor via their widget). _Man_

    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

Speaking of Amazon and apps. How the heck does a non-techie find his/her way to their Market app on a new Android phone, LOL. I was trying w/ my wife's new GN2 -- it's awesome, BTW -- but couldn't find it on their site or via the included Amazon widget, and couldn't see anything to do w/ their...

    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

Matt, It's definitely all about the use case if you choose iPad Mini over iPad2. I plan on getting one for my mother, who wants one that she can bring anywhere w/ her (in her handbag) and is light/easy on her aging hand(s). That means no to fullsize iPad. Nexus 7? I almost got...

    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

Maybe they'll also eventually do a Win8-PC+Slate promo purchase bundle (and/or a bundle w/ Win8 phone) at some point since the real goal for them is the software platform (and subsequent software sales), not the tablet sales itself. _Man_

    Microsoft Surface: $199 (?)

How could this possibly go the way of X-Box though? What bucket loads of $50-60 (or even $10) games/apps are they planning to sell and can actually convince tablet users to spring for in order to recoup the $$$??? OR do they really have that much content to sell cheaply to yield the same...
