    Underwater (2020)

This is one of the last Fox releases inherited by Disney, so I doubt they'll go to any extra effort. It may be available digitally, but I doubt we'll ever see a 4K disc.

I agree. I think any nefarious purpose would have been hidden from the workers. It would have been at the top levels of the company (or whatever organization was controlling the company). And as you say, it's all pretty vague in the film. Any ulterior motives of the company are not really...

    Underwater (2020)

Finally got this and watched last night. Well, I was Yes, very surprising. I expected the first half hour to be quiet character intros and such. Nothing earth-shattering here, as others observed, but a fun 90-ish minutes. If you have the extras available, watch the "real bunny montage"...

Watching Leviathan (1989) now via Amazon Prime. Looks and sounds pretty good. The acting isn't great, but there are some neat Stan Winston practical FX. Though it does seem kind of like an underwater version of The Thing. Amazon also has DeepStar Six (1989) if anyone's interested in more deep...

    Underwater (2020)

Doesn't seem outrageous for a deep sea adventure/disaster/horror FX film, and given that mob dramas seem to run at least double that these days. ;)

Kristen Stewart and "friend". There may be a bit of Lovecraftian influence in the design.

    Underwater (2020)

I assume Kristen Stewart's character will survive. Can't have the strong female lead getting eaten by a monster.

I'm intrigued, based on the trailers. Creature design looks great, based on the limited snippets I've seen.
