I don't believe S4 is out yet. It's still in "pre order" status at Amazon Canada and Deep Discount (without any release date listed), and is not even listed in a few other places I checked.
It was nearly 8 months for the S3 disc release after the season streamed on Paramount+. Season 4 just...
I've used Discover pretty exclusively at Amazon for years and years and don't recall any special offers.
I must be on some sort of black-list for retail savings offers, as over the years people talked about all the offers and coupons they got from being a rewards member at Barnes & Noble, too...
Is it possible that with holiday shipping, all the lockers are full and they have nowhere to receive it? I don't know how many days they leave items in lockers if people don't pick them up right away.
Pretty much my situation exactly. All Amazon orders now take at least 7-10 days. The actual shipping may be 2 days, but it takes them nearly a week to process the order and send it out.
I don't think they've bothered with this since the start of the pandemic, at least for me. I don't remember the last time I received anything in 2 days. Normal for me now is at least a week even though I'm a Prime subscriber. I think the only shipping benefit of Prime now is that it's "free"...
I've never really run into this, but I don't generally do too many preorders. I had a couple last fall that were delayed, I extended the order, then it seems like they ended up shipping sooner than Amazon's extended estimate. But none were cancelled by Amazon.
Yes, the Amazon shipping "options" don't usually offer much "option".
"You can have it on any of these three days, as long as it's the same day."
I've had shipments from Amazon UK that I've been amazed arrived intact. A few times they've used these sort of cardboard wraps that have untaped flaps on the ends that are just tucked in and could be easily opened by anyone, or could seemingly pop open themselves if the box was dropped in the...
Yes, that seems to be the delay in Prime shipping lately. Once it's out the door, it takes just a day or two to arrive. But it sometimes takes nearly a week for Amazon to pick and pack the order.
They try and blame the USPS, but it's Amazon causing the delays.
I placed an order with Amazon...
Agreed. I wouldn't worry too much about dents as long as there's no leakage or swelling. I will buy dented cans in the store if they're in a discount bin, are not leaking, and as long as the dents are not going to preclude me from getting the can opened.
Not sure how one would avoid all dents...
Intelligence is seemingly not a requirement in most any field, even astrophysics. Wasn't there a NASA project a while back that was years in development for hundreds of millions of dollars that failed because one team was using metric measurements and another team was using the imperial system?
Those bonuses are generally spread out over months, if not years, if they're similar to what's being offered around here. You might get something like $1,000 after six months, another $1,000 after 12 months, then the final $1,000 after 18 or 24 months. Most places are not going to let you...
That's the only reason I'm renewing, as well. I've given up on expecting any kind of timely shipping fulfillment. If there weren't some things on Prime I wanted to watch, I'd cancel.
In the report, the woman said there was just toilet paper in the package. Not sure what the bear thought was worth taking unless the delivery driver had used the box as a table for his lunch and it smelled of food?
Or was he one of these bears?
Why your Amazon packages may be late or missing. Porch pirates at work. :P

Not exactly sure, but I know everyone flying to the US needs to show evidence of a negative COVID test before they can fly, so that might be part of the logic. I don't know if it's practical to do that for all people and their passengers driving across the border.
Yes, it came from the UK, so something was probably missed along the way. Though Amazon must have received some notification, as they closed the return window on July 11, which is about right as the disc was delivered mid-June (30 day window).
Amazon seems to be losing it. I've had this listed in my order status. According to them, it has not yet arrived (it has), but the return window has somehow already closed:
On the upside, I received a steelbook case Monday in one of their white/blue plastic envelopes, and it seems to have...
I'm amazed. I ordered Shout!'s "Friday the 13th" Collection Deluxe Edition from Amazon. It was actually packed in an appropriately-sized cardboard box, with padding in the little bit of remaining space inside to secure everything, and seems to have arrived in pristine condition. Haven't opened...
Odd Amazon thing today. I received an empty box in the mail from Amazon's receiving facility in Stamford, CT. It was marked by USPS as "Received Unsealed" and "Received Without Contents". However, this shipment does not match any pending order of mine from Amazon.
When I peel off the outer...
I've debated dropping Prime as the shipping benefits are no longer honored, but I find I do use Prime streaming fairly often and I get a new free Kindle book every month with their Prime Reads benefit, so it's still probably worth it to me.
If they did it all on their own, I'd just be happy and keep it.
I wish they'd do that for me. I get the "sorry your package is late" messages, but no compensation.
