Is there a unique name for something like what Cheers typically opened with?
Those were never a teaser by that definition nor were they ever really a prologue (with perhaps a few exceptions). Usually they were just a short humorous scene with no connection to the storyline of the episode.
If no one objects to a minor sidetrack, can anyone comment on if season 4 and 5 are worth tracking down in their original form on DVD for their bonus content (I said this earlier in the thread, but I only own seasons 1-3 & 6)?
I used to be able to quickly look this stuff up on TVShowsOnDVD.com...
A bit puzzling that they don't mention the missing audio in I believe episode #17, especially if a post at their forum is correct about one of the included screenshots being from that very episode.
Hard to picture the missing music and sound effects track not being missed, unless he didn't...
The one bit of solace with the movie I suppose is that it's not even in HD. It would be frustrating if they had fixed the introduction, but we still ended up without the presentation we want due to it being presented in 480i.
Maybe we'll see this one done right eventually, with a standalone...
I'm not sure it's news, but since it was to me, a YouTube reviewer spot checked for me some of the problem episodes with missing teasers and found them to be present. Hopefully the only major issue with missing content for English speakers will be episode #17 and Warner will implement a...
If what customers receive has this problem (And I bet they will; I don't see the sense in doing a small scale production run of review copies that are arriving now, for a product that is releasing to regular people in a week and a half) , they better fix it.
If the clips in-between the fluff from the talking heads in the video uploaded to YouTube the other day is at all representative, I won't find it objectionable looking. I know it can and should look better and that it's been digitally tampered with to reduce grain, but it still looked good to my...
Yes, but the new HD streaming episodes that popped up a few months back do have the major problems I've spoked about. And it's going to be these new transfers that they're utilizing for this new Blu-Ray set.
Season 3 is when Pebbles was born, right? If so, the situation on DVD for that season...
I'm more concerned about the missing teasers, missing audio tracks, and so on that have been reported with the streaming episodes than I am picture quality.
I preordered since $60 is a good deal if the product turns out well, but I'm glad Amazon is taking their sweet time to fill orders these...
Sorry, I guess I misunderstood the first post. I thought it was implying that there was a second theatrical movie and you were asking if The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones was it.
