Resurrecting this old thread to mention one film I had seen in the past, Hurricane (1979). Although it is rated low at imdb, I remember I was really impressed by the special effects. (more so, than today's CGI). I hope someone releases it on blu-ray. anyway, since some films have been released...

Does anyone know which label could release Black Sunday (1977)?

I just learned of a highly acclaimed movie, Sounder (1972) and it seems very interesting. Unfortunately I see the last DVD was released by Disney in 2003. So unless another studio has the rights now, we'll never see a Bluray! :(

Just watched The White Dawn (1974). It was a quite good film and I would very much welcome a bluray of it!

Yes, I know about that. If I didn't need English subtitles I'd probably get it. But I think this film would look amazing in a 4K restoration like other recently released Blurays.

Where is yet King Kong (1976)? I wonder what's the hold-up since it has been released 6 years ago in Europe.

I would like to add the TV movie 21 Hours at Munich! I loved it when I first saw it some months ago! Could this be a possibility from any studio? Does anyone know who has the rights?

Yes, I think so too. Especially if it received a restoration like Arrow's Cinema Paradiso!

Since in my original list The Sugarland Express is announced for release, I'd like to substitute it with Darling Lili (1970).

Good idea! :)70s is my least favourite decade in film, and i recently discovered it during the last years. I don't think I have seen more than 150 films from this decade, and most of my favourites have already been released in Bluray. Some that I could think of (found more eventually - although...
