I always make sure that my significant other knows that I recyle old gear, so the price of upgrading is much cheaper than simply what the new component costs... Plus, I never ever pay retail for anything. :)

We have a rule in our house: My wife can do whatever she wants in any room of the house, except the family room where my system is. That's *my* domain. :) Flowers never hurt either. ;)
