    I'm guessing not at all in terms of visuals, unless it was originally missing DolbyVision or something. I'd assume any added value is going to be in bonus features for adult collectors, though someone else can say if there's been any kind of audiotrack additions.

    I would be more than okay with Criterion releasing 4K editions of Disney films that are akin to the 2-disc DVD sets that they'd put out twenty years ago for serious animation fans/collectors. I still have my Atlantis set that I purchased specifically for Mike Mignola's production art.

    I see your point, but if I had heard Criterion was going to release a Pixar film, Wall-E is probably the one that would top my list of what I would expect. As great as it is as a movie in general, it has a feel that absolutely crosses over with their market.
