They’re in standard definition but they look and sound pretty good. If you have the 2006 deluxe DVD box set of Superman films, it’s the same masters used in that set. I know it’s not HD but I’m pretty satisfied with them.

For that one specific episode, apparently there was no 35mm element readily available so it came from a 16mm print - I think the quality of the episode’s entertainment is more than enough to make up for the presentation shortcomings but yeah, it’s rough.
