I think that’s very much true. I have a tremendous amount of both for them so this show is most definitely in my wheelhouse. This does for me what Mando does for most other viewers.

I had asked earlier about Rebels and the consensus here seems to be that this show will take place before the events of Rebels, which would mean that it would not be necessary to watch it before Obi-Wan.

My wife - who does not enjoy the prequels - said that she was thinking of joining me in rewatching them. I told her she was absolutely welcome to but that I genuinely love the movies so she can only watch if she doesn’t complain about them throughout. I am now living in the basement. :D

Have they said exactly when this show takes place relative to Sith/Rebels/New Hope?

I don’t really see where he would fit - his appearance with Obi-Wan in Rebels was pretty definitive (for both characters) and I’m glad they’re not simply remaking animated episodes as live action ones.

I saw the HBO documentary about the cult that Piesse fell victim to, rooted for her as she got out of it, and the whole time thought, “no one messes with Aunt Beru!” I’m especially glad to see that she’s back. She deserves the break, and I can’t wait to cheer her on in the role.
