You would see the artwork when you pulled out the disc to play. Many of these custom covers have spines that match a series of movies. I've also found a way to display some of my more impressive blu ray cases.
Oh wow, these are great. Sure will be wanting them when they're available. I really like the first Rear Window, though I wish they hadn't labeled the windows. I know that was done for marketing purposes, but it mars the effect of the image. The blacked out window with the big X, what if they...
While I'm not familiar with RoyalBrites, any premium, glossy photo paper I've used is noticeably heavier than the paper used for the inserts. It's probably better than what the inserts are printed on.
Fritz, I just read your outline of how you did the Reel Heroes, and I though I could use some of it. At Halloween, I carve pumpkins, usually from movie posters. The key to a good carving is the pattern.
I had never had much luck with the posterization feature before, but combined with the...
Have you ever thought of doing the original King Kong? I ask even though the blu-ray has a great cover and even though I store it in the fabulous metal tin that the DVD came in. Still, you really hit home-runs when your covers go retro.
So you deleted the Dino's and the door to make the backside. Ain't photoshop grand? What size case does the JP cover fit?
That phantom cover falls in the category of the cover being better than the movie, IMHO, of course. I see it on the shelf and I'm wishing I liked the movie.
OK, first things first. I now know that the poster is from a company named Mondo that commissions new original poster artwork. I had run across this before but forgot about it. I found an image similar to the one you used, though it is only for the front and doesn't have the back side of the...
Ok, I've now got a new favorite cover by you, Fritz. If I had commissioned a JP cover I would have said to feature the trex but this one is so damn bitchin. Sorry, that cover turned me into a teenager temporarily. :)
I'm not familiar with a movie by the title of Mondo. didn't find one in imdb...
Yeah, Goldeneye is my favorite Brosnan Bond. Never been released on blu, not counting the big box coming out later this year. Sure wish it would come out on its own.
Another good cover. I ask myself would the cover get my attention on the store shelf and would I like seeing it at home. Yes to...
The Dr No poster I liked immediately. I think this one could grow on me. I have always been a sucker for poster hyperbole. Even though the two are very different, you are matching them up with design similarities. Like the concave shape at the top and bottom.
Ain't that a great poster? If I see that poster and don't know anything about Bond, I'm still interested.
Great job of fitting a horizontal poster into a vertical format. How'd you do that? I also like the comic book look you gave to the Spidermans.
