Opposing corners is often ideal. So if you can put one in or near the opposing corner in the rear, go for it.

If you can put them in the corners, that's probably the best location. You should get much more even distribution and fewer peaks and nulls.

I believe the difference is more frequencies.

The podcast motivated me a bit. Some planning and expected removal of a useless piece of furniture opens up an ideal location for a second sub. Dual SB16s might be closer than I thought.

And @Sam Posten you were right that I look forward to giving this a listen, especially since I'm seriously considering dual SB-16s.
