About OKLAHOMA!, I was fortunate to see a 30fps showing in the early 1980's when the Goldwyn Company sent around a few new prints, at the Uptown Theater here in DC, which was the local theater where OKLAHOMA! opened in 1956 after it had been refurbished for Todd-AO. The prints were beautiful...

I have to admit I don't what hairstyles accurate to that time would look like, but the women's hair in the opening sequence and even Ascot look very "1960s" to me. Am I wrong?
