For myself and others with no memory of this, I looked it up:

I will say that the Yogi Bear/Three Stooges album here is one of the best children's albums ever. All original voices and a good story. I played it for my kids numerous...
Hong Kong Phooey is the best post 60s HB character and definitely deserves a blu-ray. A blu of SD-Dyomutt would be an excellent opportunity to release the still missing Dynomutt episodes, and if it happened to include the never released pre-Scrappy Scooby Doo Show episodes so much the better!
I think a lot of the early HB shows suffer from the short cartoon format. Those cartoons tend to run together. The characters are great but the 22 minute format is superior. I showed my kids lots off vintage HB and they really preferred Yogi's Gang over the 50s and 60s originals.
Ok. This is not HB, but in a related ballpark. Personally, I think it’s an odd release choice, but I’m ok with it. I preferred the New Adventures several years later. https://13thdimension.com/1968s-filmation-batman-to-get-remastered-blu-ray-release-in-2023/
I'm really surprised about the Globetrotters, given that the Harlem Globetrotters are still a successful touring company, and that was the first cartoon that I can think of to center on black characters. They even featured in some memorable New Scooby Doo Movies. Fantastic Four not only...
I feel pretty lucky we got the British release of Banana Splits, which collected most of the most essential parts of the show. I always found the picture quality of that to be pretty good. Of course, I would like a complete collection.
Honestly, in terms of guesses, I could see a Superfriends box set. Given that the Suprefriends cartoons came out originally under what I always thought was a confusing array of disparate names, a single collection would make a lot of sense. However, I'm guessing that these titles are under the...
I think we'll see Hong Kong Phooey at some point. I'd like to see Scooby / Dynomutt released, and hopefully do something about the missing Dynomutt episodes, not to mention the missing / scattered episodes of the Scooby Doo Show.
I don't think that they will do blu-ray releases for ordinary cartoons. New Scooby Doo Movies is the only one where first time release HB cartoons have come out on blu-ray. I think any first time releases of nontop tier stars will be on DVD, as they'd want to reach as broad an audience as...
Not that I know anything at all, but I think that there is hope for future releases, particularly if the show in question doesn't have outstanding rights issues. They are getting to a point where they are going to have released all of their best known titles on blu-ray. I think if it weren't...
My understanding is that WA can have what WHV allows it to have. Generally, WHV has had Looney Tunes and Scooby, and the major HB releases (original series of Flintstones, Yogi, Jetsons, etc.). My understanding is that WA lobbied to be able to release other Looney Tunes and they were allowed...
Heavens to murgatroid. A hoax even! Actually I think that what you say about Huck might be true as there’s a lot of Huck in the first set, and they’re all short cartoons, and WHV may feel the public will not appreciate another release. However, I don’t believe that they would not release Quick...
That's a good point. I think that when Shout! released Underdog or Tennessee Tuxedo or something, they also used collector prints to complete the shows (although maybe not to get the best possible image). To my knowledge, Warner as a whole has largely shied away from using prints from other...
I guess the lack of negatives means a lower quality image. For those who have viewed them, how bad is the worst image quality on the Wally Gator and Lippy releases?
Generally, when there are replacement disks, the studios replace the stock of major sellers like Amazon so new purchasers don’t have to get replacements. That’s what I meant
