This was officially released on their site on 5/12/214 this past Monday. I just got the blu-ray in the mail, so I can absolutely confirm that it is out.
Wow! Universal just opened the floodgates for April. By the looks of it, many of these seem like they could be double feature discs (two Waynes, two Eastwoods, two King Kongs).
Eh, what? That was one of the last film I ever expected to see given blu-ray treatment. It was unceremoniously and quietly released on DVD a while back, so I never thought Fox had much faith in their early talkies given how few of them are actually released by Fox. Great news nonetheless.

Ishtar being released by Sony in-house really makes no sense outside the gamble on its notoriety previously mentioned. Remember this is the same company that has been confirmed to be sitting on and already finished blu-ray of From Here to Eternity for quite some time and still having cold feet...
