I wish I kept the one that I had as a kid!

I think Maytime holds up quite well. It has MacDonald's, arguably, best performance and John Barrymore is always a treat. I think there would be a market for this and Sweethearts, as MGM's first full-length 3-strip technicolor feature.

I'm still hoping for "Maytime", (1937). It's a beautiful film and, arguably, Jeanette MacDonald's best performance.

Of all the theatrical remakes that followed the Rene Clair version, this one is my favorite.
