There have been other incidents in the news at various locations about police handing out citations because they can. The Greenville MS incident was ridiculous, but at least the Federal government stepped in to overturn the town’s
practice of collecting money.
That’s appalling. Government/police empowerment and abuse of authority, in
my opinion. Does the government expect us
all to be a shut-in, with an occasional trip to
the grocery store as our only allowed activity?
Some jurisdictions are using this as a way to
steal money from us. Getting off of...
I have decided to just tune it all out. The internet media outlets are full of articles and headlines-
some actual news, most finger pointing, panic for clicks, agendas, and sensationalized stuff. I don’t bother to click on that stuff.
Is it true that mass transit (trains and subways) are still operating in NYC? Yes, too many people need these services to just shut them down, but
you can see where this virus will remain an issue
with so many people in close quarters.
Despise that idea- I won’t watch or listen to baseball until the fans are allowed back into
the stadiums. It just doesn’t smell right to host
games/events, and exclude the loyal fans.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. What should happen to those morons is, if anybody in that congregation gets sick, they should be on their own- no financial help. Let those out of touch
idiots pay their own bills for care.
Another pathetic story about a guy on a Boston area commuter train who licked some hand rails. The train had to be taken out of service. It makes me angry seeing these stories- it shows how morally bankrupt today’s society is.
Yes I just read about this. Even if some think this is all an overreaction, why would anyone spoil or destroy $35,000 of much needed food because they think they’re right, and everyone else is wrong? Make these pieces of shit pay full restitution- this will come to a stop in a hurry.
Too many...
At my local Kroger, I was able to find red cap milk, toilet paper and bottled water this morning. The store has set a maximum number of items
that are being hoarded until further notice. Good move.
I was at my local Kroger today, and I noticed that all the red cap milk is gone. I didn’t check where they keep the toilet paper, but my guess is they didn’t have any of that either. This panic shopping is silly, and it’s high time for our public officials to comfort us all by saying that...
For baseball, not only are the Mariners affected by the limit on crowd sizes, the California teams are also affected. I think baseball should just put the start of the season on hold.
The discussion on MLB Radio is the Mariners won’t be playing their first series at home vs.
the Rangers as scheduled, after the Washington Governor announced he was limiting crowd sizes. The Mariners will likely host the Rangers at their Spring training facility in Arizona. The NBA put its...
