You either think the nudity and sexuality in the superbowl halftime show is offensive enough to justify the "backlash", or you don't. I don't. I think it was a stupid thing to do, but don't think it's a big enough deal to justify the fallout. I "agreed to disagree" at the very top of this...

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. :) I'm right there with you on predicting a better halftime show for the next superbowl. It will be a more tasteful event... that much is certain. I bet music will still be involved, though. Hopefully they'll pick better music.

Steve: I agree that the halftime show was stupid, and a waste of time... but I'd rather have a young kid see that than see some of the more violent TV commercials in the game. I think I heard something like "By the end of the day, I'll be standing over your corpse, laughing" in one of the spots...

I'll buy the set if the discs provide a way to watch the "original trilogy", but I don't expect that will be the case. I just hope they don't go nuts and add even MORE digital effects, stupid comic relief, or political correctness. Han shoots first, dammit.
