    ^i agree with that, you gotta use the right tool to do the right job. audition is like audio production/editing, not specifically made for ripping music CDs, whereas EAC is.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP3#Bit_rate only reason why that setting is present in EAC is because you can rip CD and then encode to pretty much anything out there like flac, alac, ogg, etc.etc. so that option is present for other codecs as well, it's not just for mp3s.

    ^this is why i suggest either transcoded practice or ibroadcast or youtube music. once you get the files into the cloud, they can muster the heavy lifting. you're not storing data and taking up space on your mobile phone. it's just a matter of using up your data plan. we've got about 6GB/month...
