It doesn't actually matter, does it? Anyone who saw Rogue One is going to say "ah, this is before the movie...got it." Anyone who didn't see the movie won't care. If you're not some kind of fan, you probably don't care about the timeline anyway. Speaking to a linear time frame, I'd ask, again...

I think more people like it than are willing to admit. The farther away we get from the "Solo is a flop!" headlines, the more people will come out as liking it.
