Sean, I'm in Lynnwood so we're basically neighbors. :) You can find me at the AMC in Alderwood most Saturday mornings (and very occassionally at other times during the week).
Yup, I still have your address, Adam. I'll be going home, taking a quick shower, making sure everything is copacetic and then heading out again. Realistically, probably 6:30 or so.
I'm planning on making it on Friday night. The lure of Star Wars and general geekdom is WAY too much for me. I'm planning on trying a new recipe tomorrow night for chickpea and pumpkin appetizers. If I don't keel over and die from them (SMALL JOKE!) I'll bring them with me!
Sorry for being late to the party (as usual). I'm provisionally in depending on the day this weekend. Work is turning into a massive cluster and I'm getting over a cold. I promise to keep up with this thread now...
A friend of mine is in a play opening the 15th and we're all going to support him. And then we're going to see Aladdin downtown on Saturday. Sunday is going to be a true day of rest, unfortunately.
It's all going to depend for me. Seems like something is going on every weekend, between Race for the Cure this weekend, the Rock and Roll Half Marathon, 4th of July weekend, our office move, doctor's appointments for my stupid arm and the like. Count me as tentative for the time being.
RSVPing for one, Adam. Aside from my weekly excursion to AMC in the AM, I have the whole day free. I'm planning on making some easy to eat snacks like shortbread and whatever else I stumble across. So let me know if you end up needing help getting anything ready and all that jazz prior...
Apparently, the only time any appreciable rain has fallen in this fair area of the country is on a random Saturday in August when I am moving. Otherwise, it doesn't. /img/vbsmilies/htf/tongue.gif
Colin, that is also very generous. I really, truly appreciate it. Ironically, the dope who took my stuff didn't grab any box set or the out of print, high priced DVD's. They left, among others, the Christmas Story and Planet of the Apes gift sets sitting on my bookshelves.
Outside of...
Before I watch anything (DVD or BD), I need to get a new player. That's going to happen in a few weeks when I (a) get paid again and (b) return from Michigan. Short version: 9/11 is absolutely fine. I have the date circled on my calendar and I'm looking forward to my first HTF meet up...
Thanks Cameron. I doubt anything will be recovered and I'm filing the insurance claim tomorrow...after I have a little chat with the property manager about moving to another community closer to work.

Well, got home to find my laptop, 46 inch TV, PS3 and 290+ BD's gone. Someone broke in through my bedroom and grabbed everything when I was at work. After filling out a police report, nearly going ballistic and deciding on a course of action, I headed to Best Buy for a computer and...
Adam, I SO know where Alderwood Mall is. Even without the GPS!
Funny aside (at least for me): a while back I lived on a street no online map could find. Mapquest insisted it didn't exist even though it had been paved for 10 years minimum. I had to give people directions on how to find...
Yep, it's a move alright. 35 hours, 2300-ish miles. And I'm moving my stuff by myself. Thankfully, it's not much.
Aside from a wedding I'll be coming back to Michigan for in August, I'm free. I doubt my new apartment neighbors would like any movie blasting through the stereo, though...
Next time round, Adam, count me in. Or if this one is gonna take place late in July, I'm game. I'm moving to Lynnwood next week. Leaving Detroit on Tuesday and when I get there, I get there. (Of course, not after July 19, when I start my new job. /img/vbsmilies/htf/wink.gif )
