This strategy feels a little bit like a burnoff to me. I'm definitely not staying up until midnight PT nine days in a row for the show like I usually do for Disney+ drops. I was mixed on season 1 but I'll probably watch it.

My guess is that they will lead to "sequel" episodes next season. But as I've already noted, I think it would be more effective to play out a scenario in its entirety over multiple episodes, especially because it will probably be at least a year before next season comes along.
