    I think they would benefit from having overlapping shows on different days of the week, so I assumed incorrectly that was this was. Thanks for the correction, @TravisR. And with the new information from @Sam Favate regarding the celebration dates, I think we've figured it out.

    Because Ms. Marvel will be starting on June 8. It seems to me that they want to get people used to the scheduling pattern. Marvel = Wednesdays Star Wars = Fridays It doesn't really seem productive to have two episodes on Wednesdays and then move to Fridays.

    As far as I am concerned, The Last Jedi is the finale of Star Wars. Since that other movie came out and ruined it, I have not been interested in anything further at all. However, even I have to admit that trailer looks good.
