I watched last night an impressive transfer of THE SPIRAL ROAD; an excellent drama with Rock Hudson and Gena Rowlands. I'm glad I purchased from Imprint. Kino these days does not seem interested in the films of the 60's anymore.

GOLDEN BOY looks magnificent! A superb restoration!

It was more expensive originally at DD. Bottom line $60 US is a great price for a two disc set at DD for this boxset. Kino will never have all the extras that this 2 disc set has. For me It was well worth the price.

Suzie Wong was not a scope film so the framing is perfect.

I don't think Kino will would have the extras included on the 2 disc Imprint boxset. The documentary "Chinese American" is outstanding. The list price ( discounted) was the equivalent to $46 US . I'm getting mine for $60 with shipping. I don't feel too gouged

Pretty Baby has never been released in blu ray or streamed in HD.

I have the UK and US blu ray of ON THE BEACH. The UK Blu has some special features, but I can't for the Imprint blu ray. Susie Wong too.

Very cool lineup of films for March. I worked at a theater where "Johnny Got His Gun" was first released and it had a scene of frontal nudity. Since then, anytime I have seen it, that scene has been cut. I hope the footage was found for this blu ray release.

I thought the same thing about DAY OF THE LOCUST.... very disappointing

I just received DAY OF THE LOCUST. It does not look like a restoration or remastered print. Looks on par with the HD iTunes version. Perhaps this in inherent in Conrad Hall's cinematography....but it borders on blurry with defused washed out colors. Very disappointed.
