    The COVID Vaccination Thread

We got our latest booster and flu shots yesterday. I've been fortunate in that all I've ever had is a sore arm although this time it's two sore arms. My wife can only get shots in one arm, and she's suffering a little more. Maybe it would have been better if she spaced the shots out, but she...

We've got a family wedding coming up soon which prompted us to get the second booster sooner rather than later.

We both got our second boosters on Friday morning. Had a bit of a sore arm in the evening, but that was it. I know it can hit other folks harder, but we've been fortunate in not having much of a reaction.

The company I work for had PTO for a short time. Since people didn't know if they might get seriously ill, they would hold onto a chunk of time just in case. There was also a limit to how much time could be carried over to the next year, so we ended up with practically everyone wanting to take...

According to this AP article, the CDC previously recommended waiting two weeks but those guidelines have been revised to say that you can get them on the same visit. There's nothing to indicate a delay is recommended if you don't get them on the same visit. I got my flu shot and booster just...

I got my booster show this morning. I didn't have any reaction to the first two shots, so I'm not expecting anything from the booster. But to be safe, maybe I should take it easy at home the rest of the day and just watch some movies...

New York also has an app to provide proof of vaccination. I've used it once at an event that required vaccination.

I got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on Friday morning. Like others, I only had some mild soreness. I was impressed with the efficiency at the New York state run site I went to. I was in and out in not much more than 20 minutes including the 15 minute wait after the shot.

My wife got her first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this week in NY, and a letter from the doctor was how she proved eligibility.

I expect it will be awhile before either my wife or I get the vaccine. We're looking forward to it, but we're not high on the eligibility list. My oldest boy and his fiancee are both in law enforcement and got their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine a few days ago. He says their arms were a...
