How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

My wife and I both tested positive today -- our first case of Covid. We're both fully vaccinated and so far it just feels like a bad cold. Hope it stays that way.

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

I had to use a couple of home test kits recently, too. I got sick last week with what must have just been a bad cold, but I wanted to be sure. It was negative, but I took a second test five or six days later when I wasn't getting better as quickly as I hoped. Still negative. Our pharmacy was...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

We've been careful about what we'll go to based on current conditions and our comfort level. We had plans to go to a Renaissance festival over the weekend but cancelled. Even though it's outdoors, it can get crowded. Instead, we went to a state park to get in some walking without being around...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

We had a great time at the concert on Thursday night although it was a bit more crowded than I expected. Prior to the pandemic, we went out about once a month for live music and about the same number of times for theater performances. Getting back out was an unexpectedly emotional experience...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

We'll be going to our first live music show tonight. I wasn't sure I'd see any live music in 2021, but we trust this particular venue. Vaccines are required, they've reduced capacity, and upgraded their HVAC system all to keep the space as safe as possible. Plus the ticket price was low...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

We did the same thing on Saturday @DaveF — got together with another fully vaccinated couple to play board games after not being able to do that in over a year. It was so nice to be able to do that again!

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

I got my second Pfizer shot on Friday. No complications other than a bit of a sore arm. My youngest will be getting the J&J vaccine this week, so that will mean everyone in my immediate family will have been vaccinated. What a relief!

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

I had my wife cut my hair a couple of times in the spring and early summer. When the numbers were looking better here, I went back to the barber a in the late summer and early fall. But once we got to Halloween, the number of cases started increasing and we've gone back to the home haircut...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

It was a bit of a good news/bad news day here yesterday. My oldest boy's fiancee was exposed through work but has now had three negative tests and is in the clear. On the other hand, an uncle who is already in an assisted living facility and struggling has now tested positive for COVID.

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

The most recent person I know to come down with COVID is someone I work with. We're all working remote, so there's no danger of passing it around the workplace and they seem to have recovered without any serious problems. I thought they were taking some unnecessary chances around Thanksgiving...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

It may just be the two of us for Christmas, but we took the opposite approach and put up our Christmas tree earlier than ever before. We typically do that a week or two into December, but the (artificial) tree went up this weekend. It's 2020 and we needed some Christmas cheer early. It was...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

It's the opposite for me. I worked from home from mid-March to mid-June when I made the choice to go back to the office. I was the only one in there, so it felt safe and I liked the generous amount of space I had in the office. But I'm in a small, remote location and the company made the...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

This is exactly what I keep thinking about when they talk about reopening schools. My kids are grown and out of the house now, but when they were in school I would get sick every September. They might have with a runny nose for a bit while I'd end up missing a couple of days of work. Make...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

My wife and I just came back from a socially distant vacation. We had plans for a very different type of summer vacation, but the coronovirus put an end to that. We still wanted to get away for a few days but also wanted to do it safely, so we rented a cabin in the Adirondacks near Saranac...

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

I had my wife cut my hair a couple of times. She was nervous but did a fine job. I offered to cut her hair, and you never heard a faster "NO!" in your life.

How are you dealing with life now with the Covid-19 virus situation?

My wife and I haven't seen our sons in person since before the shut down started in NY. Instead, we've had to make do with video calls and text messages. Even the "driveway visits" some people do isn't practical since the youngest lives in an apartment two hours away and the older one, a city...
