I think we have to remember that these episodes most likely look a lot better than what was broadcast in the early 1960's just because TV sets are so much better now. We want it to look and sound not as it did then but as if it was produced now. We want it to look new. Cuts are unfortunate...

I don't see a press release yet for this release. Deep Discount list it as "Manufactured On Demand" though neither Amazon or Best Buy list it that way . The Blu Ray logo is on the cover which indicates pressed discs.
