Thanks so much for posting the December Warner Archive podcast, Richard. George Feltenstein is so knowledgeable and his discussion about the upcoming releases is always interesting. I'm sure it generates a lot of interest in the WAC titles.
Yes, my older Oppo Blu-ray player sometimes can't read the information on a MOD disc. And since Oppo is no longer in business, I can't get a firmware upgrade.
Because "Rio Bravo" has been restored by The Film Foundation and TCM for the Warner Brothers 100th anniversary this year, might there be a new Blu-ray release to replace the old one from about 10 years ago?
Robert -- I hope you post a link to the podcast after it airs like you did last time . Not all of us are technically adept at accessing podcasts. Thanks!

The "This Heart of Mine" segment in "Ziegfeld Follies", directed by Vincente Minnelli, with Astaire and the exquisitely graceful Lucille Bremer, still takes my breath away every time I see it. The lovely song by Harry Warren and Arthur Freed, along with the complicated circular treadmills for...
A question...
Now that George Feltenstein's position was sadly been eliminated as of November 2020 -- although he'll be remaining at Warner until late February -- are the days of the WAC numbered? Gosh, I hope not!
I hope the Fred Astaire movie that WAC is working on is "Royal Wedding" (1951). I'd love to see Fred Astaire climbing the walls and ceiling of that London hotel room on Blu-ray!
