I noticed that, too. Despite all that's been going on this month I've been able to keep up on the posts (if not my movies!) much better than years past.

#12 The Meg I REALLY wanted to see this in the theater. A fun, over the top popcorn flick. It's streaming FOR FREE on xfinity this weekend! I feel like I was still ripped off. Horrible "acting", mostly decent effects, ridiculous dialog, no suspense. 1/10

#11 Black Christmas. Yeah, there's some bad acting and dialogue. But the first killing just sets the tone. 7/10

#10 The Gorgon. I haven't watched this in AGES. I forgot just how good it was being outside the Hammer canon of Dracula/Frankenstein/etc. Interesting storyline and the gorgon is STILL an iconic horror image (thanks, FM!). 7/10

#9 The Wolfman Yes, its atmospheric. Yes, there's some great makeup effects. Yes, it's a good story. But I REALLY felt Lon Chaney was over the top in his portrayal. Larry Talbot is a weak and whiny character. Still, it's a Universal classic. 6/10

#7. The She Creature I really don't remember this movie being THIS HORRIBLE! Stupid story, HORRIBLE acting and dialogue and the monster's not convincing at all. I was probably a cool movie when I was twelve. 2/10

#6. Hatchet A who's who of horror franchises, creating a new "hero" to root for. The gore is over the top and the story is just OK but I really hated it. The "jokes" seemed forced and annoying. 2/10

After a completely packed early October I am jumping in to see what I can still rack up before the end of the month! #1. Psycho. One of my favorite movies of all time. Pure genius. If you ever get the chance, read Robert Bloch's original book as it's quite different from the movie. 10/10

I'm in to find some gems I might not have seen before! Not worried about my totals this years as I will be gone the first extended weekend for a wedding. But it's always fun!
