Or you could just pop in a SVHS tape and hit the DVHS button.

Total Recall was supposed to be one of the initial D-Theater releases. I don't know what happened, but they're talking about a WM9 HD release now. I just purchased the SE DVD for $6, but I'd pony up a bit more for the WM9 version, which would probably be half the price of a D-Theater one.

It's nice to see they're working hard to get the classics out. Lol. Why do they even bother with titles like these? If they sold 10 copies of Forces of Nature I'd be surprised.

The higher DD bitrate seems to help. Too bad I won't be able to hear the DTS 96/24 on my receiver, as it supports the format. I ordered both X2 and True Lies at DVDEmpire, so I won't be receiving them until next month.

It should be, at least it was scheduled that way.

I don't see what the big deal is, it's a niche format and it wouldn't make a dent whether they supported it or not (I own one). It would be good PR for all the high-end users who own them. BTW- DVDEmpire is pre-selling True Lies for $23.44.
