Nine episodes really wasn't enough to finish telling the story. The ending felt rushed. The show built up that there were some real psychological issues going on and then fell back on a typical Marvel fight scene to end it. The Agnes character just fizzled out like a wet firecracker after all...
Yeah. It just felt that way because I haven't be falling down in praise of this series like a lot of others have. Just being oversensiitive. Disregard.
Was that intended to be aimed at me? If it was, I haven't "schooled" anyone on how these characters should be or are. I've just mentioned what I personally didn't like about the direction the series took. I've read plenty of comics in my life. I just never read any from the "Spandex Superhero"...
The main story ended ok. I didn't care for the credit end sequences. Mostly because I don't like having to read other sources to get interpretations of what they supposedly mean. The sequence itself should be able to do that.
The films were self contained. You didn't need to have knowledge from the comic book or an online discussion to learn about the character, plus characters like Spiderman, Thor and The Hulk are widely known outside of the comic press and culture. There have been plenty of mainstream news items...
It's great that you got emotional satisfaction out of the episode. I didn't. It is as simple as that. The story is taking a path that I don't.find as interesting as the earlier episodes. It wasn't terrible and I might as well finish the arc since it is close to the end anyway.
She was never referred to as the Scarlet Witch in any of the films, which is the only place I ever encountered the character. I haven't been in any online discussions about the character other than this thread.
I just think this series has become weaker with this turn in the storyline. I'll...
Hey man. I never read Marvel comics as a.kid or any other time, so I had no idea that this series.was.going.to turn into a story about witchcraft and a character called the Scarlet Witch. I'd never even heard of the character before I saw this episode, so all of this storyline is coming out of...
Maybe I'm just tired but this series fes.like it is going off the rails with the witchcraft nonsense. It felt disjointed and kind of senseless. It feels like the story is losing its way and becoming mediocre. Too bad, because the whole thing really started out strong and felt unique.
