    All of those raise the comedic value of Star Trek V as a bad film. Insurrection and Nemesis don't even have that going for them. They are just terrible, with Insurrection being the worst of them for me.

    First Contact was he only decent ST:TNG movie made. A movie made out of the editing room floor leavings from that film still would have been better than any of the other TNG movies that were made. Insurrection was especially godawful. Even worse than Nemesis in my book.

    That's not necessarily evidence of popularity. I think it is more about polarization among fans and non-fans due the nature of the film.
