    20th Century Fox's CinemaScope films

Yeah, I just saw this recently and found that the single Virgin Queen was pulled on Amazon but a double feature with Anne of the Indies (which I already own) is available, even on Ebay. Wonder if they "fixed" Queen for this double feature. A bit shy to order it and find out, though. The same...

Guess I'm still hoping for The Story of Ruth, Esther and the King and Francis of Assisi. Wonder if Germany or France might ever get those from Fox, as fans seem more "director-centric" there and might want these rare titles by Koster, Walsh and Curtiz. Bet these would look gorgeous in HD.

These films are often as interesting and exciting as my other favorite genre, the western, which sees a lot of action in HD. It's...

But if it is dropped at Disney, I hope someone digging around there finds a nice set of elements for The Big Fisherman (1959). Disney reportedly owns it but has obviously ignored it all these years. Too bad, it would make a nice Christmas or Easter present to fans of the film (like me). Talk...

I'm also excited about Three Coins in the Fountain. I'd like to chime in on the earlier discussion of Esther and the King. I'm lucky to have the German widescreen DVD and almost bought the Fox MOD DVD which one source claimed was widescreen but is, indeed, 1.33:1 (dear God!). This jaunty...
