I definitely agree with you on Crusade. There is aliasing there that shouldn't be. I will say however that I had to look pretty close to see it. If there is aliasing on Mola Rom's head in the screen captures, it is so subtle that I'm having a hard time seeing it, and I doubt I would notice it...

I don't think VCI has access to the original elements. From what I understand Paramount/CBS owns them. I'd love to see new transfers of the films. Hell I'd be happy with new transfers of the films from the original source on DVD. Blu-ray I'd be flabbergasted! Doug

Scott I'm wondering where you got your copy of the films. The times you listed don't match up with the images your talking about at all. For example, the neon martini glass you list at 8:02. On my copy, 8:02 is the line "Don't be sad Dr. Jones". The martini glass doesn't show up till 10:51...

Yes I noticed it in when I saw it the film in 89.. At the time I thought that the film might be about to break. But I believe its simply the car vibrating either the optics of the lens, or the film movement itself. Doug

I have the original DVD and the 2008 reissue. Both have the original cliff matte painting. I believe the only place that the altered cliff appears is on the cable TV version. Doug
