There's a field in the "consent form" you fill out where you can claim uninsured/indigent/whatever status so I guess they then bill the government directly.
I got a Pfizer booster shot today since I'm old.
Oddly enough they have to issue me a second vaccination record card as there's no "official" spot on the original one for the pharmacist to apply the sticker for this 3rd dose. The two original dose stickers filled up the entire space on the...
I type up a report to hand to any of my doctors prior to an appointment. It always contains a list of all medications, recent treatments from other doctors, recent vaccinations, etc. My primary care physician gets a typed list of all vaccinations given since BIRTH.
Hey, millions of people still smoke cigarettes. Smoking still kills many more people than Covid.

Locations in NY have discovered that a bribe works to get more people vaccinated: offer free beer!

I got my Pfizer shots in alternate arms: the first on the right arm and the second on the left arm. I wanted to be able to compare results and know which shot gave any problem.
I'm so glad I accepted a new semi-mechanical aortic valve.
https://www.edwards.com/devices/heart-valves/aortic-pericardial
The flaps are made from a cow's pericardium. This valve does not require blood thinners for the rest of my life. Without the surgery I'd only have a 50% survival rate...
I got my Pfizer doses on 27 February and 20 March. I've suffered from insomnia for years but my insomnia throughout March was the worst I've endured. I wonder whether the vaccine had played a part in this. I'm just now getting better and sleeping more normally most nights.
I got my second dose of the Phazer vaccine yesterday. So far no real problems with side effects, other than a very slight soreness near the injection point. I had them inject into the other arm. I had a lot more issues with the Shingrix vaccine a year ago.
You guys worry about the size of the needle? Give me a break. I had a pericardiocentesis in 2018. That's where they stick a large needle through your ribcage to drain excess fluid from a pericardial effusion. I had that needle in my ribs for four days in the ICU.
Well there's this....
https://www.healthline.com/health-news/how-alcohol-may-affect-your-response-to-the-covid-19-vaccine
The Russians say abstain from alcohol for 2 months after the vaccine. The Brits say a couple of weeks. The US says don't worry.
The Russians drink the most. The Brits...
I got my first dose of the Phazer vaccine a few hours ago. So far so good.
What's the scoop about drinking after the shots? I feel like red wine and pizza right about now.
I've wasted most of February trying to get an appointment. Finally got one today for a pop-up clinic this Saturday at 10 AM. Naturally it's supposed to snow that morning. Appointment for the second shot will be given at that time.
The very first vaccine took little time to develop, merely intelligent observation. Jenner noticed that milkmaids with cow pox were immune to smallpox. So he swabbed some cow pox pus into a small cut on the patient's arm, which gave immunity to smallpox. To this day the word "vaccine" honors...
A freezer failure at Kaiser near Seattle could have wasted 1600 doses, but an emergency callout got most of them used.

We used to get cookies when we donated blood at Lockheed. Vaccination needles are much smaller.
Wait until you need a coronary angiogram with catheters run up into your heart. I thought mine was somewhat annoying.
I'm taking an angiotensin II receptor blocker ARB. Although still somewhat controversial, it's becoming the majority view that this drug blocks the ACE2 receptor sites that the coronavirus uses to attach to the victim cells. With the ARB, an aspirin, and a large Vitamin D pill, I appear to be...
Sometimes medical technology advances rapidly.
Shortly after WWII a guy named Earl Bakken started a hospital electrical repair business in a garage. One day when working on a call a cardiologist took him aside and told him a sad story. External pacemakers then were a cart full of vacuum tubes...
