Even if they did, they'd still be costly to clear - this is ELVIS we're talking about...

There's one Paramount I'd love to see - Henry Winkler's "The One and Only" (1978) directed by Carl Reiner (Between "Oh, God" and "The Jerk") - I don't think it ever got a DVD release...and come to think of it, was it ever on VHS/Beta?

I'd suspect Music clearances on those would be costly! Sure, they'd sell well 'cause they are Elvis, but still...

    Your thoughts on Kino-Lorber Blu-rays

MGM owns most of The 1936-1946 Monograms, and we can assume (As seen by the "Mr.Wong" series) They also still hold some (all?) elements to films that are now in the public domain. (Even if underlying rights such as music or other elements can block 100% official releases) I honestly thought the...

Kino-Lorber: You guys mentioned on the announcements page that you guys have 6 Noir boxes in the works. Not asking about titles, but how do you guys come up with what films will be in what sets? Is is based on known interest, stars, years, studios - or what is cleared and available at that...
