    The Dark Knight (2008)

Cool, thanks Nicholas. It'd be nice to see those two deleted scenes included as a special feature in a future release.. I'm sure there were some as well for Batman Begins.

I'd love to read the script when I get a chance but I have just been so swamped lately. Are there any significant changes between the two? I guess when you're writer and director, there probably isn't many. I heard about a cut scene of Joker leaving the Bruce Wayne party he crashed.

Thought I would share this ridiculous but true story... Real life Batman faces super test Yes, the city of Batman located in Turkey wants to sue Christopher Nolan (not DC Comics or Warner Bros, mind you) for the "illegal" use of their name "Batman". I guess they can sue Tim Burton and...

The script is up on JoBlo and they do have a very small scene of the Joker escaping from the penthouse for those wondering what happened to him afterwards. http://joblo.com/scripts/The_Dark_Knight.pdf

    The Dark Knight (2008)

Yes ridiculous. That isn't to say that Heath Ledger's performance and death didn't contribute to the box office.. of course it did but you stated that Opening weekend it brings in people. Not the fourth week after the fact. A film does NOT make 500 million domestically because of ONE...

What Chuck Mayer and Patrick said.. and add to the fact that the United 93 passengers had a LOT more time to talk and work out a plan but in this fictional film they were only given a few minutes.

    The Dark Knight (2008)

Taking a life is taking a life.. convict or no. What about the innocent guards and the captain of the ship? The conundrum is would you turn the key knowing you will still kill a bunch of people? Nobody knows that answer until we are put in such a position. Joker's point was to show that ANYBODY...

    The Dark Knight (2008)

Exactly though..that's his appeal. He could be lying to you or telling you the truth. That is what has made The Joker the most enduring villain in comic book history. There is no logic. There is no motivation. He just is.. at any given moment.

I know what theatre you're talking about Nicholas and yea, that IMAX screening is almost always sold out. If you can, reserve your ticket online (you don't have to pay any additional charges) and then you just print it out and use that for the theatre...

    The Dark Knight (2008)

I would always assume the softer, sweeter moments were from James Newton Howard. Like when he's thinking back about his father, the whole "You haven't given up on me" and as Ben pointed out the whole Harvey Dent/Two-Face scene at the end of the second movie.

Did you miss Danny Elfman's theme? No knock to the new scores cause they work great with the new films... but Elfman's theme is as iconic as William's Superman.

I always thought it was pretty obvious. I mean, Batman even gives a shocked look once he sees that it's Harvey. He even takes a few seconds until he rescues him.

    The Dark Knight (2008)

I guess it comes down to that Batman would never put the heat on somebody else if they weren't responsible (even The Joker). He will only put the heat on himself. So as easy as it is for Batman to blame Joker for the murders, he's not going to do it because it's no right. He will put the blame...

Was the great scene where Joker keeps pushing the button to blow up the hospital and then finally runs into the bus improvised with Heath Ledger? Even when he runs, it looks like the camera realizes that he's running and then tries to keep up with him. I love it. Does anyone know if the...

Bruce Wayne grieving is BEING Batman. In addition to the Bruce in the penthouse which I DID buy as grieving, he gets back in his suit and goes out to fight another day.
