Got mine ordered early this morning. Went with the 32 gb model. I hope I don't regret that, but I think I'll be ok.

I control mine with a Harmony Elite remote. The new model does still list an IR receiver in the specs.

It's on their current iterations so I see no reason why it wouldn't be. I use an Apple TV now to watch NHL.TV. Very excited about this upgrade. I'll definitely be getting one.
